The platform PASSAGEN EXTENDED presents continuously and successively projects and exhibitions, events, conferences and previews of design and PASSAGEN protagonists from design studios, universities, institutions, museums, show rooms, galleries, interior design stores as well as socio-cultural centers - in the interim between the fancy PASSAGEN 2021 and the again live PASSAGEN 2022.

The new format Urban Design Parcours of PASSAGEN and DESIGN PARCOURS EHRENFELD took place as a mini festival with 30 exhibitions and projects as well as numerous Ehrenfeld actors* in September 2021.

Here you will find documented podcast conversations and interviews with designers and multipliers of the design scene in written form, backed by photo portraits and project examples.

Documented here are conversations with up-and-coming designers, multipliers and protagonists of the Cologne and international design scene, as well as in particular with the Cologne designers presented in the DESIGN STUDIO PARCOURS.

Current publications of a thematic and monographic nature by the design community will be presented - whether in print, online publication, video or SociaL Media format.

Here you will find current information on events, exhibitions and events - live, hybrid and virtual - in the context of PASSAGEN EXTENDED, the platform for design of the hybrid interim of PASSAGEN.

Many exhibitions of the PASSAGEN in the last 30 years are now "legendary", including the Cappellini staging in the angular round building or the light installation by Ingo Mauerer in the hollow space of the Deutzer Brücke - and many more: PASSAGEN revisited in the sequel here.

PASSAGEN 2022 will take place from Jan. 17-23, 2022. The 32nd edition of the design festival PASSAGEN Interior Design Week Cologne is dedicated to the context of design, architecture, urbanity and living and opens the international design season with exhibitions in Cologne's cultural institutions, museums, show rooms, universities, interior design stores and galleries throughout the city.
